Looking for something to do? Don't just sit-around playing video games, come check us out in Hayward on Tuesday nights from 7:00pm to 9:00pm! Squadron 18 is a local youth unit of the US Civil Air Patrol - Auxiliary of the US Air Force.

What do we do?
We do all sorts of things from learning about aviation to camping. But as Cadets, we focus on military discipline & leadership. There are all sorts of weekend to week-long activites held throughout the state. Check out what we've been doing on our online gallery!

Is this the military?
No, we're not the military. We're Cadets of the Civil Air Patrol, Auxiliary of the US Air Force. That means we're not forced to do things we don't want to do. Our main focus is to train our mind & body to become future leaders! Most of us go on to college & some join the military.
