Bulletin Board :: Posted 21 JUNE 2009:: All Cadets are expected to complete the Aircraft Ground Handling Training, click the following link Aircraft Groud Handling Training Video. Once you sign into CAP e-Services, you will be taken to the "Aircraft Ground Handling" screen. Be sure to select the best means for you to view the video based upon your Internet access and computer capabilities (drop down menu on the right). When the video is completed, click on the "Take Test" block under the video box. The test will come up and you will be able to complete the test and obtain a completion certificate. Cadets are expected to complete the on-line Basic Operational Risk Management (ORM) Training, click the following link www.capmembers.com/safety/orm.cfm. Select either the PowerPoint or pdf version of the training. Upon completion of the material follow the link to the test. All Cadets are expected to complete the online AOPA "Essential Aerodynamics" course prior to participating in "O" rides (orientation rides) [this means before attending encampment] Click on the following link "AOPA Essential Aerodynamics" This will take you to a login in page (create a guest log in then proceed), Review the video training and take the test at the end when you are comfortable with the material. This test may be taken as many times as neccessary to obtain a 80% (12/15) score. Use your CAP ID number as your Certicicate number when requested once you have passed the test you must save the certificate of completeion to your drive and print a copy to be placed in your file at the squadron. Make sure to email sq18attendance@yahoo.com no later than 23:59 each Sunday regarding attendance-whether you can or cannot make it to the following Tuesday night meeting. All Cadet members over the age of 16 will be qualified ES Trainees (also known as 101T) NO LATER THAN the promotion after their 16th birthday.
